Clean and condition the spa cover
The most expensive part people neglect
The cover does the heat-retention work, and its PROLAST™ skin is what fails first when it is ignored. Jacuzzi strongly recommends cleaning it monthly, and says regular cleaning can extend its life.
What to do
- Hose off any debris.
- With a large sponge or soft brush, gently scrub the top with diluted mild soap.
- Rinse well and do not let soap dry on the skin. Never put soap on the underside.
- No solvents, abrasives, strong detergents, silicone, or alcohol.
Habits that keep it alive
- Clear snow and standing debris so the foam cores do not break.
- Lock the straps, and never sit, stand, or set heavy objects on the cover.
- Do not drag it off by the flaps or straps; use a proper cover lift.
- Keep the seam away from the control panel side.

Replace the Bullfrog filter cartridge with Microban (10-2870). every year–2 years.
Bullfrog states cylindrical cartridges typically last 1-2 years.
