Replace the mineral reservoir

Every 6 months, or every season Your Pool FROG XL PRO holds a mineral reservoir (part 01-12-5462) that slowly releases minerals into the water. King Technology says to replace it every 6 months or one pool season, whichever comes first — so in a shorter season it goes at close, not at the six-month mark. ## What to do 1. Open the FROG lid and lift out the spent mineral reservoir. 2. Drop in a fresh one, seating it fully. 3. Note the date — the minerals are gone long before anything looks wrong. The reservoir handles the mineral side only. Chlorine still comes from the FROG Pac, which is on its own schedule.

Replace the Pool FROG Pac (chlorine) (01-03-5613). as needed.

Condition-driven: replace the Pac to hold 0.5-1.0 ppm free chlorine. No fixed interval in the manual.

Replace the FROG BAM algae treatment (01-10-5060). every 3 months.

90-day protection window. Dose 1 bottle per 15,000 gal (2 for 15-30k, 3 for 30-40k); also dose before winter closing.

Replace the Silicone lubricant (cap O-rings) (01-22-9972). every 2 months.

Lubricate the cap O-rings every 2 months.
