Replace the ProClarity Depth filter
This one is on the calendar, not on how it looks Your J-400 has a ProClarity Depth filter — the fibre depth-loading filter that sits behind the pleated cartridges. Unlike the pleated cartridges, you do not clean it. Jacuzzi says to replace it every 3 months. ## What to do 1. Turn power to the spa off at the breaker. 2. Open the filter compartment and remove the ProClarity Depth filter. 3. Fit a new one and reinstall the cartridges and skimmer shield. 4. Turn the power back on. ## Do not wash it The manual is explicit: do not attempt to wash the ProClarity Depth filter or the debris bag — they come apart. Replace the depth filter; rinse the pleated cartridges and canister instead.
